What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner about how the site is being used.
Cookies do not contain your personal details directly, but some can be used to identify you indirectly when combined with other information. You have control over which non-essential cookies are active on this site.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active — these are needed for the site to function and cannot be turned off.
Examples: your cookie preference settings (stored in localStorage), session security tokens.
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Example: Google Analytics — pages visited, time spent, referring source. Data is aggregated and anonymised.
Marketing Cookies
Used to track visits for advertising purposes. We use these minimally.
Example: Facebook Pixel — used only if an advertising campaign is active. Not always present.
Preference Cookies
Remember settings you have chosen to improve your experience.
Example: your selected language or display options if applicable on future visits.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use:
- Google Analytics — analytics data about site usage. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — used only during active advertising campaigns. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
We do not use social media sharing cookies or persistent ad-retargeting outside of active campaigns.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period. Analytics cookies typically persist for up to 13 months. Your preference settings (localStorage) persist until cleared.
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Google Chrome
Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. You can block or allow cookies, clear existing cookies, and set exceptions for specific sites.
Mozilla Firefox
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. You can manage cookie behaviour and clear stored data.
Apple Safari
Go to Preferences → Privacy. You can choose to block all cookies or manage them per site. On iOS, go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
Microsoft Edge
Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data. You can block, allow, or clear cookies and choose tracking prevention levels.
Your Rights
You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time using the toggles above. Disabling analytics cookies means we will not be able to use aggregated data about your visit to improve the site. Disabling marketing cookies means you may still see general advertising rather than tailored campaigns.
Disabling essential cookies is not possible via this page, as they are required for the site to function. You can remove them via your browser settings, but this may affect how the site behaves.
